Webnode Wins at the LeWeb’08 Startup Competition

It wasn’t too shortly after we revealed that we would be attending the biggest web conference in Europe, LeWeb’08 Paris (www.lewebparis.com) on December 9th/10th 2008, competing along with hundreds of other companies, from 18 different countries, in the start-up competition section, that we won it!

We presented our system in the demo zone, met with some of our users and took the opportunity to showcase Webnode, talked to other business leaders, investors and innovators and the LeWeb’08 organizers. Webnode made such an impact that it persuaded many users to vote for our system (and gained a lot of attention from prominent web business personalities). The result was that we won, giving us the further encouragement to know that we are doing the right thing with Webnode.

We want to thank you, our users, for helping us with your feedback and suggestions. We will continue to improve Webnode and will attend more venues in the future, not to mention having a great time at LeWeb and recommend that you check it out if you can.
