Webnode changes its provider

January 1st, 2012

On January 1st, 2012 Webnode changed its provider to a new company called Webnode Inc. This new Swiss company replaced its original provider, Westcom Ltd. The new provider Webnode Inc. takes over all obligations to Webnode’s customers and service users.

Webnode Inc. will ensure further development and maintenance of the project, as well as, its technical and user supports. At the same time, responsibility for the project’s marketing and sales activities are secured by Webnode Inc.

As an international project, Webnode is currently available in seventeen languages and is used by over 5,000,000 users worldwide. The company’s next goal is to expand the user base into new countries.

Founder and CEO of Webnode, Vit Vrba, stated, “We chose Switzerland because it is a multicultural European country, with a stable and transparent legal environment that will facilitate our global expansion. Also, the local labor market will allow us to easily attract skilled workers, particularly native speakers, which are crucial for the future development of Webnode’s core services.”

These changes will not affect end-users. On the contrary, they will bring a faster development of services, an easier localization of the project and a more efficient customer care response.
