Widgets are applications that you can insert into your website from external sites. Currently there is an almost unlimited amount of these applications. In this quick tip we will show you where you can search to get them!

Where I can find widgets for my site?

Take a look at the following sites: Widgetbox, Widgipedia and Google Gadgets. You’ll find games, clocks, calendars, radios, counters… Almost any widget you’re looking for!

How to insert a widget on my page?

Widgets are inserted into a Webnode page via an embedded code or HTML code. This code is usually displayed by clicking “Add/Add to webpage”, “Get Widget” or “Get Embed Code”.

Note that an excess of widgets can harm the image of your website as well as cause slower site loading, so take care not to add too many widgets.
