Quick Tip: Add a news list with pictures to your website

A picture is worth a thousand words. Would you like to revive the news on your site with pictures? There are two ways to do this! Choose which format you prefer and we’ll show you how to set it up.
The first option is to simply insert new content using Lists. Use “New items” for adding a new article. However, if you want to use article categories (displaying the article’s date of publication or sending it via RSS feeds) there is a second option, a trick on how you can have an image shown!

If you don’t have articles on your website yet, add them with the help of how to Add a new article category. Then follow these 3 steps:

1. The trick lies in inserting only the title when you create a new article, and adding the image to the beginning of the text (perex).

2. Click on the title of the article. Then from the toolbar, drag the new text block to the page and insert the rest of the news.

3. News is ready and now all that is left is to set the correct display. Go back to the list of articles. Click on “Settings” in the top right corner and next to “Trim text” select “No”. That’s it!
