The Google Adsense program is one the best known sites for monetizing the Internet. This service pays its users for each click received. Depending on the niche market, the value per click varies greatly. Here are a few tips for using Google Adsense on your website. If you have questions about how to insert an Adsense banner, read our help article on Adsense.
1. The ad colors should complement your site design
Combining the color scheme of the ads with the design of the website is one of the most used strategies by webmasters. This is an effective strategy because these links are not as easily noticed as other advertising and so they can help you increase your click rate. The blocks of text ads from Google are smart and adjust the content of the links to your website content.

2. Insert an ad in a fixed position on the website
In the toolbar of your website, go to Website Templates – Advanced Settings and enter an ad unit to the area you want on your website. In this way, the ad unit will be displayed on all pages of your site with the same format and in the same position. The ad can be seen as an integral part of the entire site and increase the click rate. Also, it will save you a lot of time because the ads automatically appear on every page of your site.
3. Test all options
Each website is a specific case and what works for one site, might not work for another. There is no ideal universal formula for success. Every webmaster should look for their own best formula. Conduct your own tests by varying the number and positions of the banners and alternating banners and text blocks. In the end, you will know what is the best strategy to adopt in your site.
4. Do not overdo the advertising!
The last tip I can give is not to exaggerate on the ads. The first impulse of people who want to monetize a website is “more banners, more clicks.” But in fact, more banners will make the visitor filter the ads and not even notice them. It is preferable to have only one banner that brings consistent results than many banners that will not give you any income. Also, they’ll distract your reader from the content and so they won’t return to your website.
