Web of the Month – Visual Studio ProgrammingAugust 2nd, 2011
The first winner of our Web of the Month contest is our user Alessandro. He uses his web site www.vsprogramming.com to promote his programming skills. He offers useful tools, applications and tutorials about computers a computer software on his website. The story of his successful website is quite interesting so we decided to share it with you.
The idea started when I was 14 years old. I wanted to make a website where everything was as good as free and where people could download everything they wanted. When I was 15 years old, I started programming in Visual Basic after a friend showed me how you could make an executable file. I found it very interesting and I spent a lot of free time on learning how to program like a professional with visual basic and some other programming languages.
By the age of 16, I figured it was time to share my knowledge with the world, so I created a youtube channel. But that wasn’t enough. I needed a website to share tutorials and a place where I could upload files. I was searching google for a free webhost. I tried dozens of other webhosts but none could actually do what I wanted, until I met Webnode. After creating a free website on Webnode, I was sold. After buying my domain name, I started upgrading my website.Hopefully vsprogramming.com will be the gateway for programmers one day !

We are happy we could help to start a business to a 16 year old talented programmer. His programming work that he shows on his website is quite impressive. The website is practically oriented and well organized discreet appearance of the website makes it look professional. We also appreciate two language versions of Alessandro’s web that make it more user-friendly.
